Your Rights & ContactUse the email-preferences page to opt out of marketing. A minimal record helps us honour that choice.
Email PreferencesOptional measurement helps us count visits and successful submissions without a persistent visitor profile.
Storage & MeasurementStop Line Ltd, company number 17416504, is the controller for personal information collected through this website. Our registered and correspondence address is 16 Sunningdale Avenue, Feltham, United Kingdom, TW13 5JT.
Privacy enquiries and rights requests may be sent to complaints@stopline.co.uk.
The information depends on the route you choose. Required fields are marked on each form; without the relevant contact or permission details, we may be unable to respond or process the introduction. Optional technical context should stay relevant and avoid sensitive personal details.
Name, work contact details, organisation, role, fleet and vehicle information, enquiry route and technical context.
Introducer details, the referred organisation and decision-maker, permission confirmation, fleet context and the referral reference and status.
The email address, unsubscribe status, source, optional reason and the dates needed to maintain a suppression record.
With permission, the requested page, successful enquiry or referral submission event, time, device category, referring domain and campaign tags. The analytics record does not contain a full IP address, cookie identifier or persistent visitor ID.
Most information is supplied directly by the person completing a form. If you are a referred decision-maker, we obtained your work contact details and commercial context from the named introducer, who must confirm that you know about the introduction and have agreed to contact from Stop Line.
We may also create administrative information such as a submission reference, delivery status, review notes, correspondence history and the outcome of an enquiry or referral. If you were introduced by someone else, you can ask who supplied your details and request that we correct them or stop contacting you.
Commercial enquiries are used to respond, assess technical or commercial fit, prepare requested discussions and take steps towards a possible contract. For a genuine business enquiry, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding and assessing commercial fit. Where an individual requests steps towards a contract with us, we may rely on those pre-contract steps instead.
Referral information is used to verify permission, identify duplicates and conflicts, manage the opportunity, prevent fraud and administer an accepted reward. We rely on our legitimate interests in managing permission-based introductions, preventing fraud and operating a fair programme. Where relevant, we also process information to enter into or perform a referral agreement with an individual, or meet a legal obligation such as keeping tax records.
Email suppression information is kept to honour an objection or withdrawal and prevent unwanted marketing. Optional site measurement relies on your consent and is used only after you permit it.
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for solely automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
Information may be handled by authorised Stop Line personnel and necessary suppliers providing website hosting, database storage, security and transactional email delivery. It may also be disclosed where the law requires it, to prevent fraud, or where insurers, accountants, lawyers or other professional advisers need it for a legitimate matter. We do not provide referral contact details to unrelated marketers.
These periods depend on the record’s purpose and any legal obligation or unresolved dispute; they do not mean every record is kept for the maximum period.
Some technology suppliers may process information in countries outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards, we use an applicable adequacy decision, approved contractual protection or another lawful transfer mechanism. Further information about the relevant safeguard may be requested using the privacy contact above.
You may ask for access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability where applicable, or object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing. Rights apply according to the circumstances and lawful basis, so deletion or portability may not be available for every record. We may need proportionate information to confirm identity before acting on a request and will normally respond within one month. If a lawful extension applies, we will explain it.
To make a request, contact complaints@stopline.co.uk or write to the postal address above. Include enough detail to identify the relevant enquiry, referral or correspondence. You do not have to use a special form. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ICO data-protection complaint guidance.
The website uses local browser storage to remember the privacy-panel choice. It does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Essential Only leaves optional measurement off; Cookie preferences in the footer lets you change the choice later.
If you allow anonymous measurement, Stop Line records page views and successful enquiry or referral submissions in its own website database. Submission measurement contains no names, email addresses, message content or submission reference. We store the page path, time, broad device category, referring domain and any campaign tags supplied in the link. We do not store the full IP address, full browser identity, a cookie identifier or a persistent visitor profile. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected. Analytics records older than 13 months are deleted when new measurement events are processed. Website infrastructure must also process network information, such as an IP address, to deliver and protect the service; this is separate from the analytics records described here.
We use access controls, limited collection, encrypted website connections and managed service providers to reduce unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No internet service can promise absolute security, so please do not submit sensitive personal information, identity documents or confidential vehicle files through an initial website form.
The website and referral programme are intended for adults and business contacts, not children. We may update this notice when the website, suppliers or legal requirements change; the current date will appear at the top of this page. External social, messaging and official-record links open services with their own privacy notices.
Give your name, a contact address and enough context to locate the relevant information. You can ask for access, a correction or another applicable right without making a formal complaint first.
