Referral Programme Terms

A Clear Basis for Every Introduction

Know who can take part, what written acceptance means and when a qualifying introduction can earn a reward. A useful introduction starts with permission and a clear agreement.

BEFORE YOU REFER

Three Things to Get Right

Page updated 3 October 2026.
Read all clauses below alongside your written referral confirmation.

Check Permission

Confirm the contact welcomes the introduction. Check employer restrictions and disclose any relevant conflict.

Permission & Data

Wait for Acceptance

Stop Line checks the opportunity and confirms the referral basis in writing before substantive sales work begins.

Written Acceptance

Understand the Trigger

A meeting or trial alone does not qualify. The specified order, cleared payment and verification requirements apply.

Reward & Payment
01
PROGRAMME OPERATOR

The Programme Operator

Stop Line Ltd, company number 17416504, operates this referral programme from 16 Sunningdale Avenue, Feltham, TW13 5JT. These terms apply to every referral submitted through the website unless a separate written agreement signed by Stop Line expressly replaces them.

02
ELIGIBILITY

Who Can Take Part

The programme is open to individuals aged 18 or over and organisations legally able to receive a reward. Employees, agents and advisers must check that participation is permitted by their employer, contract, professional duties and internal gifts or conflicts policy. Introductions involving public officials, regulated procurement or an actual or perceived conflict may be declined.

03
PERMISSION AND DATA

Permission Before Contact

The referred person must know that their work contact details are being shared with Stop Line and must agree to be contacted about the introduction. Do not submit private contact details, sensitive personal information, licence data, purchased lists or information obtained unlawfully. The introducer is responsible for the accuracy of information supplied and for providing any notice required to the referred person.

04
ACCEPTANCE

Written Acceptance Comes First

Stop Line checks whether the organisation is new, already known, already active, duplicated, conflicted or previously referred. No reward right arises merely because a form was submitted. A referral becomes accepted only when Stop Line confirms the reference, opportunity ownership, reward basis and qualifying payment event in writing. Stop Line’s dated records and reasonable assessment determine priority between duplicate submissions.

05
REWARD

Agree the Reward Basis in Writing

The reward amount, calculation and qualifying customer transaction are confirmed separately because opportunities differ. Unless that confirmation states otherwise, a reward becomes eligible only where the accepted introduction directly results in the specified order, the customer has paid the qualifying amount in cleared funds and any cancellation or refund period has passed. No retrospective reward is due for activity carried out before written acceptance.

06
PAYMENT AND TAX

Payment, Verification and Tax

An approved reward is normally paid within 30 days after the qualifying event and completion of reasonable identity, bank-payment, fraud-prevention and tax checks. The introducer is responsible for declaring and paying any personal or business tax, VAT or other charge that applies. Stop Line may withhold payment where required by law or while a genuine ownership, compliance, refund or fraud concern is investigated.

07
RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT

Describe the Concept Responsibly

An introducer must not make unapproved performance, certification, safety, price or delivery claims; negotiate for Stop Line; present themselves as an employee, agent or authorised representative; or use protected branding without written permission. Any public or social-media promotion must be accurate, identify that a reward may be earned and comply with applicable advertising and direct-marketing rules. Stop Line controls all technical and commercial representations.

08
ANTI-BRIBERY AND CONFLICTS

Declare Conflicts. Avoid Improper Payments.

The programme must not be used to offer or conceal an improper payment, inducement, secret commission or personal benefit connected with a purchasing decision. Introducers must disclose relevant employment, agency, procurement and family relationships. Stop Line may refuse or cancel a referral where participation could breach anti-bribery law, procurement rules, professional duties or an organisation’s gifts and hospitality policy.

09
EXCLUSIONS AND CANCELLATION

When a Reward Is Not Payable

No reward is due for an unaccepted, duplicate, withdrawn, unlawful, misleading, unsolicited or conflicted introduction; where the customer does not place the confirmed order; where payment is cancelled, refunded, charged back, disputed or remains unpaid; or where these terms are breached. Stop Line may reject a referral where contact would be inappropriate or contrary to the referred organisation’s wishes.

10
PROGRAMME CHANGES

Changes to Future Referrals

Stop Line may suspend, amend or close the programme for future referrals by updating this page. A change will not remove a reward already earned under an accepted written confirmation. If an operational, legal or fraud issue affects an accepted referral, Stop Line will review it reasonably and explain any material decision to the introducer.

11
RELATIONSHIP AND LIABILITY

Independent Introductions and Liability

Participation does not create employment, partnership, agency, exclusivity or authority to represent Stop Line. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Stop Line is not responsible for an introducer’s unauthorised promise, representation or breach of duty.

12
QUESTIONS AND DISPUTES

Questions, Complaints and Applicable Law

Referral information is handled under the Stop Line privacy notice. Questions may be sent to partner@stopline.co.uk, and complaints may follow the complaints procedure.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory rights that an individual may have under applicable law.

KEEP A CLEAR RECORD

Your Written Confirmation Matters

Keep the referral reference, acceptance message, agreed reward calculation and qualifying payment event together. If any part is unclear, ask before making commitments or discussing the opportunity.
