Turn Practical Knowledge into Fleet Evidence.

A useful collaboration brings a real operating environment, relevant engineering capability or independent scrutiny. Help assess and refine the Stop Line prototype before wider adoption is considered.

01
WHERE COLLABORATION BEGINS

Three Ways to Build Useful Evidence

Operators, bodybuilders, pallet networks, suppliers, safety specialists, insurers and researchers may contribute in different ways. Choose the route that best reflects the resource and expertise you can make available.

01
REAL OPERATING CONDITIONS

Fleet Trial Partner

Help assess the prototype in a controlled loading environment that reflects the work your operators actually do.

What You Can Bring

  • A suitable vehicle, representative pallet or roll-cage task and experienced operators.
  • A safe trial location, a named fleet contact and agreed operating controls.
  • A record of current handling practice, followed by observations and operator feedback.

What We Build Together

A documented review of visibility, stopping decisions, handling behaviour and operational fit before any wider rollout.

02
VEHICLE-SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT

Engineering Partner

Help turn the floor concept into a repeatable build, with the panel, channels and inserts reviewed as one system.

What You Can Bring

  • Vehicle-floor drawings, material options and manufacturing capability.
  • Review of channel geometry, flushness, insert retention and vehicle-specific line positioning.
  • A practical plan for durability tests, replacement access and wiping the EPDM seating area clean and dry.

What We Build Together

A proposed build specification and inspection method, with unresolved engineering questions recorded for validation.

03
INDEPENDENT EVIDENCE

Risk & Research Partner

Help define what a useful result looks like and how it should be measured, including outcomes that would require a redesign.

What You Can Bring

  • Experience in fleet safety, human factors, testing, research or risk assessment.
  • A clear baseline, agreed measures and acceptance criteria before testing begins.
  • Independent review of incidents, near misses, usability, wear and operational disruption.

What We Build Together

An evidence framework that separates observed results from assumptions about safety, savings or insurance benefits.

02
BEFORE WORK STARTS

Clear Scope. Clear Responsibilities.

Each collaboration begins with the question being tested and the intended contribution of each party. The prototype is reviewed against the vehicle and loading environment; a useful trial needs agreed controls before observations begin.

  • Vehicle & Operating Context

Identify the vehicle, loading equipment, representative loads and current operating controls. Record relevant unknowns before proposing a configuration.

  • People & Resources

Agree the named contacts, supervision, site access, engineering input and time or equipment each party can provide.

  • Measures & Decision Criteria

Set a baseline, define what will be recorded and agree the findings that would support refinement, further testing or stopping the trial.

  • Written Terms

Agree confidentiality, information sharing, responsibilities, any costs and the use of findings before committing to work.

03
FROM TRIAL TO DECISION

Review the Findings Before Expanding

Trial observations should produce a documented recommendation that fleet, safety and engineering teams can review. The next step depends on the evidence gathered and the limits of the tested configuration.

Prove the Configuration

Record the starting conditions, operator response, insert condition and practical impact under the agreed trial controls.

Refine Where Needed

Identify unclear results or difficulties, change a defined variable and assess the revised configuration again.

Decide the Next Step

Proceed only within the evidence available. Pause or redesign where the proposed arrangement does not demonstrate an acceptable result.

YOUR FIRST INTRODUCTION

Tell Us What You Can Contribute

Email partner@stopline.co.uk with your organisation, proposed role and the practical resource you could make available.

  • Your Organisation & Contact

Tell us who would coordinate the discussion and their role in the proposed project.

  • Relevant Experience

Summarise your fleet, engineering, research or risk experience and how it relates to the loading task.

  • The Proposed Opportunity

Describe the vehicle or site, the question you would like to explore and any useful constraints or timing.
