Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

Fair Opportunities. Practical Inclusion.

Good development depends on listening to people and removing unnecessary barriers. Our ambition is a fair, inclusive workplace where people can contribute, grow and belong. Equality means fair access and treatment; diversity brings different experiences and perspectives; inclusion means people can participate and be heard.

STOPLINE: Fair Opportunities. Practical Inclusion. An illustrated team shares ideas in a loading bay, with equality, diversity and inclusion principles.
PEOPLE / CULTURE / PROGRESS

Our Inclusion Commitment.

Strategy in development

Our commitments guide fair opportunities and inclusive participation. Procedures and measures will develop as recruitment, partnerships and controlled trials progress.

  • Fair access
  • Shared voices
  • Room to grow
01 / OUR COMMITMENTS

Make fairness part of the process.

People drive progress. Our approach connects fair opportunities, different perspectives and a sense of belonging with how we develop STOPLINE. We want an inclusive culture where people can speak up, share ideas and help shape better solutions.

01

Fair opportunities.

Equality means fair access and treatment. We are committed to preventing unlawful discrimination, harassment and victimisation. As recruitment and supplier opportunities develop, decisions should use clear, relevant criteria, with reasonable adjustments considered where required.

Planned action: define and document relevant selection criteria.
02

Different perspectives.

Different experiences and perspectives can reveal problems and strengthen design decisions. We intend to seek input from operators with varied backgrounds, review whose views may be missing and address barriers to taking part in product evaluation.

Planned action: review participation when designing trials and research.
03

Practical inclusion.

Inclusion means people can participate and be heard. We aim to use clear language and make it straightforward to ask for a different information format or an adjustment. We will discuss individual requirements rather than assume that the same arrangement works for everyone.

Planned action: provide a clear route for access and adjustment requests.
04

Respect. Growth. Belonging.

We want people to feel respected, able to contribute and supported to develop. As the business grows, we plan to make relevant learning opportunities accessible, encourage knowledge sharing and provide a clear route to raise concerns about unfair treatment.

Planned action: set respectful working expectations, review access to learning and document concerns.
02 / INCLUSIVE PRODUCT EVALUATION

Listen to the people
moving the load.

STOPLINE is intended to support a clear visual decision at the rear threshold. Its usability must be evaluated with the people who carry out the loading task and within the requirements of their role and operating environment.

We intend to assess cue recognition, contrast, line position, surface patterns and briefing together. Accessibility and human-factors performance remain subjects for testing.

  1. Recognition

Consider colour distinction, visibility, lighting, obstruction and the consistency of the intended cues.

  2. Participation

Seek feedback from operators with varied experience and consider barriers to taking part in evaluation.

  3. Understanding

Use clear explanations and check how participants interpret the approach and stopping references.

  4. Learning

Record suggestions, usability concerns and limitations. Explain how feedback has informed the next design review so participants can see how their contribution matters.

03 / IMPLEMENTATION & REVIEW

Turn intentions into practical steps.

Founder Majid Ali will oversee the development of this approach. Reviews are planned when recruitment begins, when a new partnership or trial is scoped, and when feedback identifies a barrier or concern.

RECRUITMENT & PARTNERSHIPS

Define fair criteria.

Document the skills, experience, capability and role requirements relevant to the opportunity. Consider adjustments and avoid unnecessary barriers.

COMMUNICATION & PARTICIPATION

Ask what is needed.

Provide a way to request access support, discuss practical arrangements and share ideas. Review whether people can participate, be heard and access relevant learning opportunities.

FEEDBACK & IMPROVEMENT

Record and review.

Review requests, concerns and feedback, document appropriate actions and update the approach as the business develops.

Clear about our stage.

These are early-stage commitments and planned measures. We are not presenting workforce diversity statistics or claiming an independent accessibility assessment. Progress will be described using the evidence available.

04 / REQUESTS & CONCERNS

Tell us what would help.

Contact us if you need information in a different format, wish to discuss an adjustment, or encounter a barrier when engaging with STOPLINE. Tell us the practical change you need; share only the personal information necessary for the request.

Access, inclusion or fair-treatment enquiry

Requests will be considered individually. Concerns can also be raised through our published complaints procedure.
